Music is a storytelling medium. Whether you're building an ad, a film, or a video game, my music can help you tell your story in a unique and beautiful way.
I've contributed hundreds hours of music to games, television series, films, and ads. My credits include the indie hit Starbound, as well as many other projects that you can see in the case studies below. Click each example to view a short video showcasing my work on each project, and contact me today if I can help you tell your story.
Starbound (Game, 2015)
In Starbound, you take on the role of a character who’s just fled from their home planet, only to crash-land on another. From there you’ll embark on a quest to survive, discover, explore and fight your way across an infinite universe. To listen to my entire 5+ hour OST for Starbound, click here.
Airships (Game, 2014)
A real-time strategy game where you design airships and then fight with them. The aim is to have pretty chaotic explodey fights and interesting ship design choices. Ships are put together out of modules, and the layout of modules matters a great deal: everything on board is done by individual airsailors who need to run around, ferrying coal, ammunition, water and repair tools - and sometimes their fallen comrades. Cartoon Survivor (Game, 2015)
Spunge Games' addictive iOS runner features 4 distinct worlds that all utilize a single musical theme presented in different styles to complement the gameplay, all rendered as loops that the developers easily dropped into the game.
Wanderment (Short Film, 2014)
From meandering streams and forest-dwelling organisms to the grandeur of high mountains above tree-line, this short film wanders through the contrasting wilderness of Alaska, North Carolina, Georgia and California. Wanderment is the result of a 12-month collection of 4K time-lapse sequences captured while backpacking. Countless miles of hiking in the Appalachian Mountains and adventurous backpacking in California and Alaska provided no shortage of opportunity to capture the planet’s poetry in motion. Further juxtaposing these contrasting landscapes is the use of both color and black and white techniques throughout the film. Each time-lapse sequence, comprised of hundreds of still images, represents a chance to share these reflective moments far away from urban epicenters.
School of Mines (Ad, 2013)
A promotional video for the athletic program at the Colorado School of Mines. Their Student/Athletes are among the brightest in the nation, while maintaining a high level of training and performance for their particular sport. Their program, relies on pure donations, necessitating the need for an effective ad campaign showcasing their programs, athletes, and success stories.
Nova (Short Film, 2014)
During Earth's final hours, a man struggles to preserve humanity's last legacy. "Nova" is a part of "The Seventh Spectrum" anthology by New Renaissance Pictures. There are many spectrums of reality. Ours is the seventh. Strange creatures, unusual powers, and hidden lands await beyond the Seventh Spectrum.
